The Living Fit in Fairfield County blog grew out of my desire to give people in my community the information they need to live a healthy lifestyle. I’ve spent my entire life in the area (mainly Stamford and Norwalk) so I know how difficult it can be to eat healthy and squeeze in workouts and other fitness activities in this fast-paced environment. But, it can be done, and it’s my hope that this web site can help you do it. Once you make living fit a lifestyle, you’ll never want to live any other way!

Laura DeLallo: A far less cheesy photo coming soon. I promise!

My goal is to have this site grow into a community where everyone in the area can share their information about fitness and nutrition. Right now, you can do that through responding to posts with comments and by contacting me about writing opportunities. There are so many great places to write about in Fairfield County. I’m primarily focusing on the lower section for now, including Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan and Norwalk. If you don’t see your city yet, don’t worry, it won’t be long. Still, I need your help to share information about local restaurants that cater to healthy appetites, fitness studios and classes, organized fitness events, and more. You can reach me through the Contact form to volunteer. Another way you can contribute is by listing your fitness events in the calendar on the home page. You can use the Contact form to get info on how to do that as well!

But, enough about you–let’s get back to me! LOL. Here’s my fitness resume.
