I come across a lot of good Internet articles about fitness and nutrition throughout the week. So, I figured, why not share them with all of you? Here’s my first edition of Articles of the Week.

Three Reasons to Snack on Popcorn
Popcorn is truly a great snack and this article does a great job of explaining why. It also gives a few easy recipes to help you spice up popcorn with little or no butter. One of my favorite ways to decorate my popcorn is by shaking a bunch of cinnamon on it. Cinnamon is not only tasty, but it’s also a great metabolism booster.

The Best Breakfasts For Health & Weight Loss
I cannot ever stress enough to my personal training clients that eating a complete healthy breakfast is absolutely vital to jumpstart weight loss or maintenance. This article reinforces this notion and gives you some simple, healthy breakfast ideas.

Seven Unhealthiest Pasta Dishes
I like this article for many reasons. First, being truly Italian in my love for pasta, I would never cut it from my diet or encourage others to do so. However, it’s important to choose the right pastas (and portion sizes), especially when eating out. This article gives you the bad and the good of pasta dishes at popular restaurants. Also, this writer backs up my insistence that Barilla whole wheat pastas really do taste just like traditional pastas!
